PISCATAWAY NJ, OCTOBER 2, 2022. We are tired of sitting back and complaining. It is time to put party lines aside and join together to control the direction our beautiful town is heading... BEFORE it's too late. The OLD Piscataway is disappearing. If you think it's unfair that 5 or 6 people are making every decision without input yet bill you for it (taxes) ... WELCOME.
The Democrats in this town are literally suing each other (taxpayers’ foot the bill) instead of working together on a common goal of helping Piscataway keep its businesses and residents from leaving. There are some issues that will never be fixed when all the decisions are made without your input. The town council should be a representative of your voice. By knocking on doors in our wards, we have come to learn MOST residents can’t even tell you who their Ward representative is. That’s a problem. They’ve been your representative for 4,8,16 and 20 years. IT's TIME TO CHANGE THAT! Leadership does not hide. It doesn’t make excuses. It doesn’t blame. Leadership takes 100% responsibility for the results it has caused. Let’s insert real leadership in our Town Council on November 8th, 2022.
The Piscataway Republican Organization is committed to only endorsing candidates who are worthy of holding the positions they run for. Unlike the other parties we don’t just ‘insert name here’ on to the ballot. “We have two town council candidates that bring these qualities – Integrity, Honesty, Loyalty to the Town (not their 20-year contributors) and most of all… Dedication to the people. I am proud to endorse – Bob Sisk Ward 4 and Bill Lawrence Ward 1 on November 8th, 2022 election. Please vote column A and let’s begin the Accountability Challenge.” William Mikita GOP Chairman.
“Piscataway deserves to reclaim some of the fundamental benefits it once had. This town was the home to so many large corporations when I moved here. Today those buildings are vacant. They started moving out 15 years ago and haven’t stopped. The mayor and council are fixated on warehouses as the solution. I have seen my property taxes triple during that time. The roads are filling up with truck traffic and the 300+ tractor trailer bays on Washington Ave haven’t even started… ENOUGH! I’m ready to commit to the changes we need to tackle the issues we are facing. Also, holding ALL leadership accountable to the people, for our decisions.”
Bob Sisk – Ward 4 Town Council Candidate.
“Being a 27-year resident, I am very concerned with our township’s warehouse projects leading to increased tractor-trailer traffic. Based on my experience in housing, youth sports and my church, I have insight into people’s concerns and even fears. The trajectory of this town is not conducive to keeping people and businesses thriving. After reviewing out township’s 2021-2 financial statements, I know some policies and spending must change quickly. I am ready to serve as we the people of Piscataway get control of our Taxes, Schools and Roads. We need your help.”
William Lawrence Ward 1 Town Council Candidate.
