WHY I'M THE RIGHT CHOICE
Well if you came to this page hoping to see and hear from a polished, slick talking politician you're going to be very disappointed.
My name is Bob sisk and I'm running for town council. I'm going to ask you for your vote and I'm going to tell you why you should vote for me as opposed to the the alternative.
20 years ago I chose Piscataway as the place I was going to raise my family. There are a few reasons why I picked Piscataway over all the other towns I was looking at.
1) At the time it was lowest property taxes around,
2) It was a beautiful town lots of history, nice neighborhoods, lots of trees and beauty, plenty of open space.
3) Youth sports and activities used to be great. The guy that was running the youth sports and rec department was doing a phenomenal job year round and most of it was free to the kids . He’s gone and everything is diminishing. I have been volunteering for everything I can from Scout Leader to Coaching kids from ages 7 through high school year round. I support the fundraisers, participate in township activites, clean ups and am a supported of the comminity center, That 's important to me.
4) Great teachers in manageable classes has turned into crowded and high teacher/student ratios. How is that fair to the teacher and students? And yet we keep tearing down land and building more multi-family housing. My son Jake graduated PHS in 2020 with honors and 10 varsity letters. We yearn for that town to come back..
I'm really disappointed and I’m not alone. Property Taxes go up EVERY year. Land gets demolished, trees removed, increasing flooding basements, warehouses popping up, truck traffic all day, classrooms over crowded, As of today our municipal building has been closed 916 days now... Is that leadership?
ENOUGH!
We need leadership! Brave and courageous people who do NOT owe millions in political favors.
